Rancho Carrillo is a master planned community consisting of eighteen villages and approximately 1,551 single family homes and townhomes.
The centerpiece of Rancho Carrillo lies within the Leo Carrillo Ranch Park. This public park features a passive area that includes an historic cultural center displaying original ranch buildings set amidst surrounding open space. It includes picnic grounds and nature trails.
Our Association is governed by a five member Master Board of Directors. Elections are held annually with each Director serving a two year term of office. Board of Directors meetings are held bi-monthly on the third Monday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in the Rancho Carrillo Clubhouse located adjacent to the swim center. The first 20 minutes of each meeting is devoted to homeowners who have issues or concerns they would like to bring before the Board.
Kindercare is located next to the Rancho Carrillo Clubhouse. Applications are being accepted for enrollment. For more information, please contact Kindercare directly at 602-5255. |

What’s New in the City?
Our corner of Carlsbad, Southeast, is going to get even better. The Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate Company has confirmed that the new Bressi Ranch Shopping Center located just off Palomar Airport Road and El Fuerte, has signed a lease agreement with Trader Joe’s. Talks are still ongoing with a full-sized grocery store and possibly a drug store to move into this center, but have not yet been confirmed. We will keep you informed as we learn more about this center. Carlsbad has a new charitable foundation, Endow Carlsbad. The goal of Endow Carlsbad is to connect local donors with Carlsbad-based organizations. Essentially, funds donated to this organization will be used in Carlsbad and for Carlsbad causes. By agreeing to donate $5000 over a five-year period, the residents and businesses in Carlsbad will become the founding members of the organization. Please call (760) 269-3882 for more information. The Tri-City Healthcare District plans to open a wellness center in South Carlsbad. The proposal is for a two-story complex which would include a gym, pool, exercise equipment, medical offices, cardiac rehabilitation and physical therapy. The proposed site is located southeast of the El Camino Real and Town Garden Road intersection. Unlike most health clubs, the demographics of this new complex will be older individuals.
